About Me

There might not be that much about me that can be seen as special but this is me. The most important thing about me is perhaps not mentioned enough but I'm a religious guy not simply in the way I worship but in how I try to live my life acting & reacting with other people. Professionally I’m an Organizational Performance Consultant working for the US Coast Guard. I hold certification in process improvement, certified Six Sigma Champion and ISO 9001/2000 lead auditor. I’m a trained facilitator & regularly work with different groups & teams to help meetings run smoothly. In another life I worked in commercial broadcast operations. A somewhat cheesy version of my resume can be seen at the link to the left. Writing has always been a hobby of mine & I have had short articles published but not come close to what has been accomplished by my brother who has four books in the market including two New York Times best sellers. I have contributed to a church newspaper and had part of one of my articles in the "Ensign Magazine" back in December of 1996. When I moved to the DC area I got into politics and pop culture writing op-eds one of which happened to fake its way into a compilation book called 101 best Opinion editorial from opeds.com Currently I write performance themed articles for an internal Coast Guard newsletter.
